IMC
(in mould coating), a well-known process, modified
to serve the aviation industry.
The
basic material for almost any aircraft interior
is called honeycomb core panels, strong and very
light material. The pre-preg top layer shows a porous
and sometimes rough surface. This surface provokes
massive labor costs to obtain a smooth and leveled
paint or decorative film carrier.
This
is where "your cost saving partner" comes
in once again. A new, exciting and revolutionary
process developed by the HSH laboratories completely
disregards sanding, scuffing, filling and repeated
primer applications.
The
sanding part in particular is a notorious time eater.
The first production calculations are showing huge
savings at labor time, material costs, production
time, energy, air pollution and on top a much better
quality e.g. passes OSU 55/55.
